Bashir Ahmad Reacts To May 4th Lockdown Relaxation
The Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has assured Nigerians that the country will record a big victory against the current global pandemic.
The presidential aide made the statement in a recent tweet on his microblogging site account, noting that Nigeria will one day be free of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recalled that President Buhari on Monday evening stated in his speech during the nationwide broadcast that lockdown in states mostly affected with the dreadful virus, the likes of, FCT, Lagos & Ogun States will begin to enjoy gradual relaxation starting from May 4.

BOI To Disburse N200 Billion To Manufacturers, SMEs
To assist companies and manufacturers nationwide, the Bank of Industry (BOI) has announced that it will award three funding categories totalling N200 billion. A statement from the development bank mentioned that the money was from the FGN MSME Intervention Fund, the FGN Manufacturing Sector Fund, and the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme.
Naija News reports that the bank detailed that a N50 billion Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme is also available to help qualified owners of nano businesses.

Recall that the ruling APC had on Thursday extended its membership registration and revalidation exercise for another two weeks.
There have been talks about the planned defection of Matawalle following the judgment of the Supreme Court on the crisis that trailed the primaries of APC in Zamfara.
A former governor of Zamfara State, Senator Ahmed Sani Yarima, had stated last year that plans are on for Matawalle to join the ruling party.
