Jack Butland Joins Man United As David de Gea's Backup
Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan from Crystal Palace to serve as a backup to the club’s first-choice goalkeeper David de Gea. United had to offer Jack Butland a 6-month deal as an immediate solution after Newcastle United cut short the loan spell of Martin Dubravka at United ahead of the January transfer window.
Note that Butland who has been a Crystal Palace goalkeeper since 2020 has not made any appearance for Palace so far this season.

Jon Jafari, a popular YouTube host, sparked outrage this week after making controversial and false claims about immigration and race in the U.S.
Jafari, who goes by JonTron online, began the controversy by tweeting in defense of Rep. Steve King’s inflammatory statement that “We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies,” a comment that fellow Republicans and critics condemned as supporting white nationalism.

Nnamdi Kanu's Case Stalled As Magistrate Loses Dad
The hearing of the case against the director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was stalled today, December 1, due to the death of the magistrate’s father.
The court premise was already crowded with sympathizers of the director of Radio Biafra who were later informed by one of his counsel that the court would not sit.
The court registrar, Salisu Yunusa told Legit.ng that the magistrate’s father died on Thursday, November 26.
He said no date has been fixed for the continued hearing and ruling on the case.
